I am not a big fan of keynotes, they are mostly too high level for me. But it was raining outside in the beginning of day 1 at BLUG so I decided to listen to Kevin Cavanaugh’s keynote. And it was quite good, although not technical at all, if you do not count using Expose :-)
He pointed out (in a CxO language) where IBM is heading with all that “social this and social that”.

Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5.2 FP2 is available for download from FixCentral. I have already upgraded out test server on Linux and everything seems to be working so far.
Upgrading Lotus Notes Client 8.5.2 FP1 on Ubuntu 10.04 went wrong. Installer said something about missing /opt/ibm/lotus/notes/framework/rcp/deploy/jvm.properties.orig file and LN just did not start. After asking for password it’s just showing the progress indicator that starts over and over….Removing Lotus Notes and Fixpack and installing it again solved it.

So I’ve decided (finally!) to start blogging about my recent work with XPages and Lotus related technologies in general. And because I am also working with Java and WebSphere technologies there will be some content focused on these subjects too. And last but not least this is going to be about Drupal. And development and coding in general. And maybe about something else…
I am going to use this blog as a repository of my findings, dead ends, best practises, presentations, ideas and so on.
